Karsten is the owner of the Youtube channel MalwareAnalysisForHedgehogs where he makes malware analysis accessible for everyone. He is also the developer of the library PortEx. He has been working as malware analyst at GDATA CyberDefense AG since January 2015. GDATA is a German antivirus company. Since November 2022 he is Lead Engineer for the Protection Engineering team at GDATA. His main responsibility is the improvement of detection and prevention technologies for GDATA's MEDR product.
